I love the fact the final boss tries to beat you by extracting your memories as opposed to just downright killing you. Since it’s not entirely physical. Every time a memory is lost it reminds you that everyone you think about is by your side. Even though they’re not there. Even though they lack the physical strength. The bonds we share, good and bad transcends space/time. Everyone you ever met and comes to mind is helping you face this hostile metaphysical being. Without ever realizing it.

Such a dreamy tune. I would get this confused with the ice cavern theme.

That rhythm guitar riff towards the end sounds a bit like the guitar riff from Ogre Battle by Queen.

As much as I love rocking out hard to basically all the other Black Mages stuff, it's nice having something relaxing like the intro to this one and the acoustic Spanish guitar parts in Vamo Alla Flamenco.

Flamenco, but metal/rock. Love it. This would be my choice for music if I was taking ballroom dance and was doing a paso doble.

I have this demo too. It's the Tobal No. 1 game with demo. As you can hear it has a new version of the Final Fantasy Prelude song playing in a more upbeat tone. I also know this song was in the Final Fantasy 8 demo too. I wonder if this song was ever released in a Square Enix compilation of miscellaneous or unreleased tracks CD. If you play the Final Fantasy 7 demo you can hear a earlier version of the battle song. The whistle part is a bit different than the official version. Ever since I heard the demo version I much prefer it then the original, This trailer is also in the game itself. Put the disc in like normal and don't press anything. It will show 3 intro's. The story, the Job class, then the this trailer then it will repeat. Ever since I heard the song of this trailer I wanted the soundtrack glad I bought it.
